Our refund and returns policy is designed to ensure customer satisfaction while considering the nature of our products, most of which are perishable food and drink items. Please review the details below carefully. By making a purchase, you agree to this policy.
Refund and Return Eligibility
- Perishable Goods: Due to the nature of perishable items such as coffee, drinks, and food, these products are non-returnable and non-refundable unless there is a verified quality issue or damage caused during delivery.
- Merchandise (Non-Perishable Items): Merchandise items, once introduced, may be eligible for a return or exchange if they are unused, in the same condition as received, and in their original packaging. This must be done within 14 days of receipt.
- Proof of Purchase: To process any refund or return, a receipt or other proof of purchase is required.
- Exclusions: The following items are not eligible for return or refund:
- Gift cards
- Downloadable or digital items
- Customized or personalized merchandise
Refunds
Perishable Items: Refunds for perishable items will only be issued in the case of:
- Incorrect or damaged items delivered.
Food or drink products that fail to meet reasonable quality standards (e.g., spoilage).
If you encounter an issue with your order, contact us within 24 hours of receipt with details and photographic evidence.
Non-Perishable Merchandise: Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds will be processed and credited to your original method of payment within 7-10 business days.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received your refund:
- Check your bank account.
- Contact your credit card company, as it may take some time for the refund to be officially posted.

Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges
Defective or Damaged Items: Exchanges are available for defective or damaged items. Contact us at caferyu2025@gmail.com or call 0977 205 2314 to arrange for an exchange.
Non-Perishable Merchandise: Exchanges for merchandise are subject to stock availability and must meet the same return eligibility criteria as noted above.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift at the time of purchase and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of the returned item. Once the returned item is received and inspected, a gift certificate will be emailed to you. If the item was not marked as a gift, the refund will be issued to the original purchaser.
Shipping returns
To return eligible merchandise, ship the product to: Cafe Ryu at Sitio Hinulid, Brgry. Lourdes, Buhi, Camarines Sur, 4433 Philippines.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part.
For higher-value items, consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance to ensure safe delivery. Cafe Ryu is not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments.
